Waifu

this was for a Manga/Japan related exhibition. but i didn't had the time to do the other pieces needed so i didn't submit it.
not totally sure if the judges would accept this piece anyway, because is somewhat critic, i wanted to troll a little i must admit.

_{the phenomena of some lonely and socially awkward otakus (not all otakus, obviously!) choosing fictional 2-D characters to develop (i assume) strong feelings toward them, and the fact there is a (small?) market who sells those pillows.. i found it very sad. maybe one can laugh at those "loosers" (and maybe now you see the L in the drawing hahaa) but also i can see this as sort of magnification of the little failures, frustrations and hopes who any person have for someone in a moment of their live. ( but still i find it fucked up!)}

Edit: yesterday happened that terrible earthquake, thanks to japan engineering, and their country construction legislation to make good buildings and saving thousands of lifes! hope japan economy and society can rise up in the future.
